This ethnographic study investigates the barriers Black women encounter at work in leadership roles. The study intends to thoroughly understand these obstacles and how Black women negotiate and overcome them to reach their desired leadership positions using qualitative methodologies. The principal tool for gathering and analyzing data is the researcher, who uses triangulation to assure validity and reliability. The study sheds light on the unique challenges faced by Black women leaders and the intersectional factors influencing their career paths, using data from the General Social Survey. By examining these interactions, the study hopes to provide valuable insights for future investigations and practical tactics organizations can use to create more inclusive and fair work environments for Black women. The results add to the body of knowledge on intersectionality and leadership development by guiding organizational policies and procedures that will improve Black women's chances in various fields and advance inclusion, diversity, and equity in leadership.
