Background: Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) significantly increases the risk of Emergence Delirium (ED) and Emergence Agitation (EA) in patients undergoing surgery.1 These complications lead to adverse postoperative outcomes and impact patient satisfaction. Current anesthesia management practices do not adequately address these unique needs, resulting in suboptimal patient outcomes.1,2
