The purpose of this quantitative nonexperimental study will be to examine measurable changes in leadership effectiveness and team outcomes associated with participation in a structured leadership coaching program using secondary pre and post data from the Leadership Coaching Study. This study will be important because organizations increasingly invest in coaching yet lack objective evidence demonstrating whether coaching produces meaningful improvements in leadership behavior and team functioning. The sample will include 308 leaders represented in the de-identified dataset, and the setting will be defined by the publicly available archival file that contains organizational assessments collected across multiple workplaces. The study will use two validated instruments, the Leadership Effectiveness Inventory and the Team Climate Survey, to measure leadership behavior and team climate at two time points. Data collection procedures will involve obtaining the publicly available dataset, screening for completeness, preparing composite variables, and verifying alignment with the scoring structure used in the original study. Statistical analysis procedures will include descriptive analysis, paired sample t tests, and regression analysis to evaluate whether measurable improvements occur after participation in the coaching program. The results are expected to show meaningful changes in leadership effectiveness and team climate following coaching participation. The conclusions will address the implications of these findings for leadership development and organizational practice, and recommendations for future research will focus on expanding quantitative coaching studies, using larger samples, and applying longitudinal designs.
