The purpose of this qualitative study was to explore how transformational leadership behaviors influence perceptions of teacher morale during organizational change for teachers in K-12 educational settings. Grounded in transformational leadership theory, this study examined how leadership behaviors shape teachers’ experiences, attitudes, and emotional responses during periods of organizational transition. A qualitative research design using thematic analysis was employed to analyze narrative data collected from publicly available podcast discussions featuring educators, school leaders, and researchers. The central research question guiding this study was: How do transformational leadership behaviors influence perceptions of teacher morale during organizational change in k-12 schools? The setting for this study consisted of publicly accessible podcast platforms that focus on educational leadership and teacher experiences, providing a diverse and context-rich data source. The sample included selected podcast episodes that meet predetermined inclusion criteria related to leadership, teacher morale, and organizational change. Data collection involved the identification, transcription, and organization of podcast content, followed by systematic coding and theme development using established thematic analysis procedures. The analysis followed a structured process that included data familiarization, initial coding, theme identification, and interpretation to identify patterns related to leadership behaviors and teacher morale. This study contributes to the existing literature by providing a deeper understanding of how transformational leadership is experienced and interpreted by teachers in real-world contexts, addressing gaps in qualitative research on leadership and organizational change.
