Description
The purpose of this quantitative study will be to investigate the lack of a centralized system to determine the experience, formal education, and technical certification levels of employees for Daku LLC at various federal agencies in a mid-sized metro area. For the utility of this study, the central phenomenon will be generally defined as gaps in employee qualification verification processes. The theory guiding this study will be Human Capital Theory, as it emphasizes the importance of individuals' skills and knowledge as essential to organizational success. This study will utilize federally regulated worker qualifications as a benchmark for measuring Daku LLC employees’ qualifications and ensuring compliance with necessary standards. A list of contracts that will not be bid on due to insufficient employee qualification verification will highlight financial implications, while a survey of Daku LLC field engineers will provide insights into their formal education and work experience. The significance of this study will lie in its potential to transform Daku LLC’s operational capabilities by implementing a centralized information system that tracks qualifications, reduces compliance risks associated with service level agreements, and fosters client trust. Descriptive statistics will be used to analyze the collected data, guiding the exploration of this central issue within the organization. The anticipated results of this study suggest that the implementation of a centralized qualifications management system will significantly improve staff competency, enhance compliance with federal regulations, and ultimately position Daku LLC for sustained growth and competitive advantage in the industry.
