The purpose of this thematic analysis is to explore how the strategic communication approach and organizational capacity building practices contribute towards enhancing operational excellence for leaders and employees within Amazon’s transportation sector. For the practical application of this study, operational excellence will generally be defined as the consistent achievement of reliable, efficient, and high-performance outcomes through leadership development, improved communication practices, and effective system coordination. The theories guiding the study include Organizational Communications Theory (OCT), Systems Theory, and Lewin’s Action Research Model, which collectively establish the guidelines for understanding systemic interdependence, communication dynamics, and cyclical enhancement processes that influence organizational outcomes. The data collection plan will include interviews, surveys, focus groups, and thematic coding within Amazon’s transportation sector, which manages last-mile delivery and logistics operations. The study aims to develop a communication improvement plan that enhances leadership capacity, strengthens operational collaboration, and supports sustainable growth within the organization.
