The purpose of this qualitative case study is to examine how enterprise risk management frameworks influence executive decision making within organizational leadership workflows. For the purposes of this study, enterprise risk management is defined as a structured governance approach that integrates risk identification, assessment, and response processes into strategic planning and executive oversight. The theoretical framework guiding this study is enterprise risk management governance theory, which emphasizes the integration of risk awareness into leadership decision processes. The study will be conducted within organizational environments where enterprise risk management practices support governance and strategic planning. Participants will include organizational leaders responsible for risk governance, strategic oversight, or enterprise risk management implementation. Data will be collected through semistructured interviews conducted with executive leaders to explore how risk frameworks are incorporated into leadership decision workflows. Data will be analyzed using thematic analysis to identify patterns in how enterprise risk management influences executive decision processes and organizational strategy. The study is expected to contribute to professional practice by clarifying how enterprise risk management can function as a strategic decision discipline within executive leadership workflows.
